An accurate diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. Unfortunately, it can take years to properly diagnose someone, and it is estimated that 70% of the time an incorrect diagnosis is assigned. A psychodiagnostic assessment will help to quickly and accurately diagnose any issues for optimal treatment.

It’s also not uncommon for people undergoing psychological care to be confused about their diagnosis or the treatment process. A psychodiagnostic assessment is useful because it provides clarity and insight to the patient.

This assessment can also be used in clinical, research, or court settings to help with diagnosis, treatment, or making a legal case.

How Does it Work?

During the evaluation process, I will gather data about your concerns and integrate relevant information for the purpose of making a diagnostic impression. The evaluation results can be used not only to understand an individual’s issues, but also to understand the person themselves. I provide the assessment data in a wide perspective, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making surrounding one’s mental health.

The entire process can usually be accomplished in two office visits, and in most cases, insurance will cover the expense (less any copays or deductible remaining to be satisfied).
